The Chester Children’s Chorus will join St. David’s Church’s Youth Choir to present a free concert this Sunday, February 21, at 5 p.m. in St. David’s Chapel, 763 S. Valley Forge Road in Wayne, Pa. CCC founder and director John Alston of Swarthmore said that, “We have been looking forward to this event for over a year now.” Forty of CCC’s 120 boys and girls will sing in the concert. HONORARY DEGREES FOR SWARTHMORE COLLEGE ANNOUNCED: Two alumni are among three scholars named by Swarthmore College as honorary degree recipients at its 144th commencement on May 29 this year. Leo Braudy ‘63, a film critic and cultural historian, and F. Stuart “Terry” Chapin III ‘66, an ecosystem ecologist, will be joined as honorees by scholar and advocate for deaf communities Carol Padden.
