Strath Haven High School recently installed a plaque in honor of senior and Swarthmore resident Lizzie King, the only Strath Haven girls’ soccer team member to be named to the national All America team. Proud father Gary King said, “While many have contributed to Lizzie’s success, we would like to give a special thanks to Swarthmorean David Haase. who coached Lizzie for 9 years. We will always be thankful for David’s guidance and support for Lizzie.”

Deanna Nanni of Wallingford, an integrated marketing communications major, was named to the dean’s list at Ithaca College for the fall 2016 semester.

Lincoln Daniel of Swarthmore took part in an internship in spring 2017 through SUNY Oswego’s Center for Experiential Learning. A senior majoring in computer science, he interned with Center City Movers in Ardmore, Pennsylvania.

Casey Oehler of Wallingford was named to the dean’s list at Bates College for the fall semester ending in December 2016. Casey, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Eric Oehler of Wallingford, is a 2013 graduate of Strath Haven High School. She is majoring in history at Bates.

Lindsay Peichel of Swarthmore and Kira Venturini of Wallingford were named to the dean’s list at Emerson College for the fall 2016 semester.
