Saturday’s Delaware County Youth Orchestra concert will include the world premiere of a work entitled Vashti, which musically retells the Biblical story of Vashti, queen of Persia. Composer Thomas Whitman said the orchestral work is “dedicated to the musicians of the Delaware County Youth Orchestra and to their superb music director, my friend and colleague Andrew Hauze.”Vashti
