An exhibit of pastel paintings by Swarthmorean George Wilson will open next week at Borough Hall, with a free artist’s reception on Friday, March 3, from 5 to 7 p.m. All are welcome to the reception and exhibit, which is on display through March.

The works, collected as “Reflections: Pastels of My Travels,” describe places like the South Jersey capes and islands which look large in among his inspirations.

Wilson is principal of MEYER Architects in Ardmore, and was the architect for the 1996 renovation of Borough Hall, which is at 121 Park Avenue.
