6-10 koethe personalMarie and John Koethe are proud to announce the graduation of their daughter, Mary Elizabeth Koethe, from The Commonwealth Medical College on May 8. Mary was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and received the Excellence in Internal Medicine Award. She will be starting her residency in internal medicine at Chapel Hill Medical Center in June. Mary is shown being hooded by her father, Dr. John Koethe, a nephrologist at Pennsylvania Hospital.

Richard Noboru Horikawa graduated from Swarthmore College over Memorial Day weekend with a B.A. in lingistics and a minor in psychology. The second offspring to graduate from Swarthmore, he is the son of Anne Horikawa and Tom Monari, and the grandson of Emi Horikawa and the late Noboru Richard Horikawa.

Shane O’Donnell of Swarthmore and Elizabeth Semeraro of Wallingford graduated from Bucknell University on May 22. Elizabeth was also named to the dean’s list for the spring semester.

Colin Smith of Rose Valley and Daniel Gibbs of Wallingford were named to the dean’s list at Lehigh University for the spring semester.

Tasnia Jamil of Morton was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Bucknell University.

Jaclyn Farrell of Wallingford earned a bachelor’s degree cum laude in communications from Elizabethtown College. Jaclyn was also named to the dean’s list for the spring semester.

David Apedoh of Swarthmore earned a doctor of physical therapy degree and a master of business administration degree with a major in finance from the University of Scranton’s graduate commencement on May 28.

Eve Atkins, a psychology major from Swarthmore, has been named to the dean’s list at Muhlenberg College for the spring semester.
