Swarthmore Public Library has begun delivering to borough residents who are home-bound, either temporarily or permanently.
Library director Amber Bleiler said, “If you are unable to come to the library, we can bring the library to you! Homebound Express delivers personalized materials to your home once a month — up to nine items at a time, selected to match your requests and preferences.”
Signing up is easy. Swarthmore residents need only fill out an application (which can be downloaded from swarthmorepubliclibrary.org), attach a doctor’s or social worker’s note, and fill out a reader’s profile. Call (610) 543-0436 with any questions.
