A series of thefts from vehicle, and attempted thefts from vehicle, have occurred in the past week.
Between 7 p.m., March 16, and 7 a.m., March 17, vehicles were entered in the 600 block of Strath Haven Avenue and the 300 block of South Chester Road.
Vehicles parked on Morgan Circle, the 700 block of Harvard Avenue, and the 1000 block of Harvard Avenue were entered between 7 p.m., March 19, and 7 a.m., March 20.
More vehicles were entered between 7:30 p.m., March 21, and 7 a.m., March 22, in the 100 block of Guernsey Road, unit block of Oberlin Avenue and the 300 block of Ogden Avenue.
In all but one instance only a small amount of change was taken, or nothing was taken, but the contents of the car were thrown around. One vehicle had a Garmin GPS removed. It appears the vehicles were unlocked.
A sign for a business was removed from a property in the 100 block of Rutgers Avenue between 4 p.m., March 16, and 8 a.m., March 17. The value of the sign is not known at this time.
