Swarthmore Police News

On March 2, Sergeant Thomas and Officer Stilwell responded to the 600 block of Parrish Road for a report of a burglary.

They were met upon arrival by the resident, who reported she had gone to bed at approximately 10 p.m. on March 1. When she came downstairs the next day, she noticed the house was cold and then discovered a kitchen window was open and that the screen had been cut out. While the kitchen window had been forced open, it appeared that no entry had been made.

The officers then proceeded to check nearby properties and found an open window in a vacant house on Magill Road. It appeared that though entry was attempted, no access was gained.

The investigation is continues.
