For a couple of hours tonight (6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday December 16), Hobbs Coffee will be the sweetest place in Swarthmore.

Marc Schmidt bakes his now-famous Liege Waffles for Tourette’s as you watch, while fellow Swarthmorean Eric Berley offers ice cream from Old City’s Franklin Fountain and candy from Shane’s Confectionery. Hobbs’s gourmet coffees and teas provide a savory counterpoint.

Admission is free, and profits to be donated to Tourette Association of Southeastern Pa., so come to Hobbs at 1 Park Avenue ready to spring for a treat.
