Have you thought about taking a trip that not only immerses you in a new culture, but also lets you help change the world? Come to the Rotary Club of Swarthmore’s luncheon meeting on Thursday, April 14, and hear longtime Swarthmorean Ken Wright’s talk about his recent Rotary service trip.
Ken writes, “I’ve just spent 15 days in India, first sightseeing, and then helping to eliminate polio from the world, building a containment dam so that villages can have more and better water, and learning how $50 can help save a migrant worker’s child.”
Ken invites you to be his guest when Rotary meets at noon next Thursday at the Springhaven Club in Wallingford. He says, “If you want to learn more about making the world a better place, you are our kind of person.”
