Horenstein Show Opens with Artist Talk Thursday Afternoon

Photographer Henry Horenstein visits Swarthmore College next Thursday, September 12, to deliver an artist’s talk to open his Selected Works show at the List Gallery. List’s first exhibition of the 2019-2020 season features selections from three of Horenstein’s photography series: Animalia, Humans, and Malecón.

The talk, which begins at 4:30 p.m Thursday, will be held at the Cinema at Lang Performing Arts Center, with a reception to follow from 5:30 to 7 p, m, at List. Events and the exhibition are all free and open to the public.

This exhibition will be open from September 12 to October 27. Horenstein’s talk on September 12 will be complemented by an October 24 screening of Horenstein’s 2018 documentary Partners at the LPAC cinema.
