Are You Collecting, or Hoarding?
Senior Community Services’ Chester Senior Center, in partnership with Merakey, will host a hoarding education presentation on Thursday, November 7, at 11:15 a.m., at 721 Hayes Street in Chester. The session will be facilitated by mental health professional Sharon White, MSS, LCSW, Program Director of Merakey.
Seniors to Be Special Guests at CCC Concert Thursday
Seniors are invited to a luncheon reception and a matinee performance of the Chester Children’s Chorus on Thursday, July 25. Luncheon begins at noon in the lobby of the Lang Performing Arts Center, and the concert at 2 p.m. in the adjacent Concert Hall of the Lang Music Building.
Healthy Foods Vouchers Available for Seniors
The farmers’ market voucher program for seniors age 60+ in Delaware County begins now. It provides $20 in vouchers which can be used at farmers markets (including the Swarthmore Farmers Market) to purchase Pennsylvania grown fruits, vegetables and herbs.
