January 4-17

In this two-week period, the ambulance responded to 38 calls for medical assistance, to Swarthmore, Rutledge, Morton, Springfield, Nether Providence Township, and Ridley Township. The calls were for a variety of emergencies, including respiratory emergency (two active COVID-19 cases), burn victim, suicide attempt, cardiac arrest, lift assist, and overdose.

In addition, the fire company responded to: 

  • Two automatic alarms.

  • One automobile alarm for a vehicle engine fire.

  • One hazmat alarm.

  • Three mutual aid calls to Morton, Nether Providence Township, and Springfield Township.
