EMS 

The ambulance responded to 28 calls for medical assistance. The calls were for a variety of emergencies including: respiratory emergency, head injury, sick person, fall w/trauma, pediatric emergency, semi-unconscious person, hemorrhaging, syncopal episode, lift assist, accident w/injury, injured person, back pain, choking, seizures, subject down, and extremity pain. These calls were to Swarthmore, Rutledge, Morton, Springfield, and Nether Providence Twp.

Nether Providence Twp. (3) – 900 block of S. Providence Rd. for a smoke detector activation; 100 block of Sharlow Dr. for a zone 6 basement alarm; and 500 block of S. Providence Rd. for a smoke detector activation. Springfield Twp. (1) – 650 S. Chester Rd. for a pull station fire alarm. Rutledge (1) – 10 block of Sylvan Ave. for a bell sounding.
