Kathleen L’Armand’s family thanks community in wake of her passing

To the Editor:

The family of Kathleen L’Armand would like to thank members of the Swarthmore community for their support and kindness during the last months of her life.

Kathleen loved to talk with people, and she cherished the neighborhood that had been her home for four decades. We’re grateful to Paulson Rugs, PNC Bank, Swarthmore Hardware, waR3house3, the Swarthmore Public Library, the Inn at Swarthmore, Aria, the Swarthmore Co-Op, Trinity Episcopal Church, Temple Ohev Sholom, the Swarthmore Police and Fire departments, and the many friends and neighbors whose patient conversation brought comfort to her final days.
