To the Publishers,
I read with dismay of the resignations of editors Rachel Pastan and Satya Nelms. I have just returned to Swarthmore after a hiatus of seven years. I was so pleased to see the changes in The Swarthmorean that Rachel had wrought that I quickly subscribed to the print and digital editions. Your decision to cut back on coverage of timely issues, to avoid difficult articles on Swarthmore’s racist past (and its current issues) are bad policy and bad journalism. I will be cancelling my new subscriptions.
