New living opportunity in the Ville

To the Community,

We are happy to announce plans to create a premium condominium project on Park Avenue, across from Borough Hall. In response to long term borough plans to bring people and activity to the business district, we will use the guidelines established in the borough’s town center zoning district to create a multi storey mixed use development. While plans are not yet ready to be submitted to the borough, the current idea is an approximately 35-unit building with parking and retail on the first floor. This building will allow people who want to sell their homes to live in the Ville and bring their lifestyle and purchasing needs to downtown Swarthmore. The building will also accommodate retail business owners who will benefit from first floor exposure in a new and exciting setting.

We expect plans to be ready for presentation to the borough in the near future, and look forward to discussing this exciting opportunity with the planning commission, council, and interested borough residents. The possibilities of this project will be enhanced by the input and suggestions offered.
