Karen (née Ordell) Roza, a longtime resident of Swarthmore and Rose Valley, passed away on November 15, 2018 in Louisville, Colorado.

Karen was predeceased by her daughter Nadja, who died at age 17, and her sister Joan Ordell. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Bob, of Louisville, professor emeritus of Swarthmore College; her son Eric Roza (Melissa) of Boulder; their four children; and her nephew, Steve Ordell (Nancy) and their children of St. Paul, Minnesota.

Friends are invited to join Karen’s family on Sunday, June 2, at 2 p.m., at the Inn at Swarthmore for a celebration of her life, as told through Karen’s closest friends, who will be invited to share memories. In honor of her memory, Karen’s family will welcome you with music and refreshments.

In lieu of flowers, you are welcome to make a donation to two of Karen’s favorite charities, SmileTrain and Doctors Without Borders.
