Accidents

  • May 28, 8:14 a.m.: A truck was backing up on the 200 block of Elm Avenue when the top of its passenger-side cabin struck a large tree limb, breaking it from the tree. The truck was able to be driven from the scene. No one was hurt.

  • May 29, 12:40 p.m.: A car pulled out of a driveway in the 700 block of Yale Avenue and was struck by a car driving east on Yale that could not stop in time. Neither car needed to be towed. No one was hurt.

Police responded to 10 alarm calls, including fire alarms, panic alarms, and false burglar alarms.
