Based on the Harold Gray comic strip Little Orphan Annie, this musical tells the story of a plucky orphan who dreams of finding her parents. Billionaires, cruel orphanage matrons, nefarious con artists, and President Franklin D. Roosevelt feature in this family favorite, along with unforgettable songs like “Tomorrow” and “It’s the Hard Knock Life.” Directed by Brian Walsh, musical direction by Nora McDonnell, choreography by Danielle Marone. Cast includes kids and adults — and a dog! — from across the Delaware Valley, including Swarthmore, Wallingford, Media, Woodlyn, and Springfield.

Annie runs Friday, Nov. 22, through Saturday, Dec. 7 (no performance Thanksgiving Day). Thursday performances at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday evening performances at 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Artists talk-back following the Dec. 1 performance. Tickets and more information at www.pcstheater.org. Players Club of Swarthmore, 614 Fairview Road.
