Just say no

Just say no

To my fellow citizens, I ask your help.

We need to stop adding to our debt before it is too late. Say NO to raising the debt ceiling. Call Scanlon, Toomey, and Casey today!, and every day for the next two months.

The Federal Government takes in about 320 billion per month. The debt service is at 44 billion per month. Mind you, we have historically low rates on our debt instruments. Therefore, contrary to political propaganda, if we do not raise debt ceiling, we can still pay our debt service. We are not bankrupt.

Next to be paid is Social Security and Medicare. After that we need to force the Federal Government to decide what to pay, and what not to pay.

We, the American people, are the Debtors in Possession. Any debt is owed by us. As the Debtors in Possession, demand our Federal Government to re-organize.

By law, Congress is required to create a budget. Demand to see a budget. Demand them to re-organize. This is our money, not theirs. Congress represents us.

Say NO to raising the debt ceiling.

Sincerely,

James M. Riviello
