  • Jan. 29, 9:40 a.m.: A car driving north on S. Chester Road was turning left toward the Swarthmore train station when the driver spilled a drink. With the driver distracted, the car jumped a curb, sustaining enough damage that it needed to be towed. No one was injured.

  • Feb. 2, 7:09 a.m.: A car was letting out passengers at the circle at the end of Whittier Place. The driver began to drive while someone was still getting out, and their leg and foot were struck by the car’s rear tire. The injured person was transported to Springfield Hospital for treatment of a minor injury. The car was not damaged.

  • Feb. 2: 11:33 a.m.: A car, driving north on Folsom Avenue near Melrose Terrace in Rutledge, began to slide when the driver put on her brakes.
