Father’s Day was the official start of summer, and now that we’re in the swing of things, we wanted to know what you like to do the most ‘round these parts during the summer months.

The majority of you like to stroll around campus and the Crum Woods — and who could blame you after their closure over the past several months. The Swarthmore Farmers Market is always a big hit (ranking second), and will undoubtedly continue to be as it emerges from its Covid-19 cocoon. And then there’s the outdoor dining scene. Media’s perennial Dining Under the Stars remains a big draw, and Swarthmore’s new “Nights in the Ville” series organized by Swarthmore Town Center is off to a great start. One reader wrote, “Nights in the Ville is a fabulous addition to our town. Love dining (and drinking) in town!!”

Others mentioned the joys of cycling around town and lamented the absence of Movies Under the Stars.

Enjoy your Independence Day weekend, wherever and however you choose to celebrate.
