When the light changed, the rear car started moving first, striking the front car. When the police arrived, the driver of the front car complained of back and neck pain. The driver of the rear car, Andre Borican Jr. of Clifton Heights, smelled of alcohol and was given several field sobriety tests. After failing to properly complete them, he was placed under arrest, processed, and released pending a preliminary hearing. The struck (front) car had to be towed.

  • December 28, 6:30 p.m.: A car traveling west on Strath Haven Avenue stopped at the stop sign at South Chester Road. When it tried to cross over, it was struck by a car heading north on South Chester Road that was unable to stop in time.
